This painting emerged from a desire for deep grounding and a longing for light. While the rich, earthy tones at the bottom represent stability and support, the radiant gold of the sun bursts through from above. The creative process was a play with this brightness. I wanted to capture how light floods through matter, creating a life-affirming energy.
