The inspiration for this work emerged from a deep, human longing for freedom and lightness. The dynamic shapes on the canvas evoke delicate wings or soft feathers that seem to lose themselves mid-flight. For me, this painting symbolizes the liberating process of letting go: old memories, outdated beliefs, and deep-seated inner themes carried away by the wind, layer by layer.
As this weight dissolves in the breeze, our vision clears, until finally only a pure, bright, and deep blue remains. It is a visual sigh of relief. ‘Blue Fan’ shows the transformation from inner restlessness to clarity. The work is a powerful expression of inner peace—and a reminder that the new and beautiful can often only emerge once we courageously move through and leave the pure chaos behind.
It is an expression of inner peace, of the new that arises from pure chaos.“
