This work is an exploration of the moment where stillness meets energy. Inspired by the unpredictability of natural phenomena, ‘Aurora’ captures the dancing interplay of light and shadow.
The flowing, cool hues of gray and violet represent the tranquility and vastness of the night sky or deep waters. Yet, into this cool harmony bursts a sudden, warm force: the coral accents symbolize that very spark—be it the first break of dawn or the sudden flare of the northern lights—that pierces the darkness.
For me, the painting embodies the process of letting go and coming into being. The brushstrokes follow no rigid plan; instead, they leave room for chance, giving rise to something powerful and catalytic.
It is an invitation to the viewer to find their own order and their own moment of clarity within the swirling chaos.
