The inspiration for Magenta Echo emerged from a desire to capture a feeling that reverberates. To me, magenta is a color full of pride and energy, but this work is about its vibrations. I wanted to show how a single, intense moment—a flash of thought or a powerful emotion—creates ripples, eventually losing itself in softer shades of lilac, blue, and cream. The painting is the visual representation of an echo:
The origin is powerful, and what we see on the canvas is the beautiful, multilayered fading of that very moment.
