Art as a connection between words
„My art searches for the essential. It stands as an invitation to genuine connection- an immersion into depths, and a quiet dialogue between canvas and the soul of the observer.”
The search for the essential
Shaped by my own quest for healing and my long experience as a body therapist, I seek the essence and authenticity behind things.
For me, painting has never been merely a hobby, but a necessity – something in this world that brings me back to myself and creates a connection with others. In doing so, I follow my intuition and the inner processes that seek to find expression.
The moment silence turned into color
There was no conscious decision to become a painter – art was suddenly there. At a time when the world had come to a standstill and a collective turning point had begun. As if out of nowhere, almost like an urge that could no longer be put off, creativity found its way to the surface. It felt like something that had long been maturing in secret and now wanted to burst into the world with all its might. With a deep, inner certainty, I began to use the canvas as a mouthpiece for the inexpressible. Since that moment, painting has no longer been merely an activity for me, but a natural state – a response to the call from the depths.
The world beyond the world
I became an artist because the mere surface of the world has never been enough for me. My gaze has always been drawn to what lies behind things – those invisible threads that hold our world together at its very core. For me, the canvas is a field of exploration where
I delve into the hidden layers of existence.
In my work, I invite you to dive down into the depths with me. Where words end, colour begins to speak.
Transformation on canvas
My works are created through a process of intuitive, abstract creation. Drawing on palette knife techniques, wet-on-wet methods and fluid painting, I layer emotions and thoughts on top of one another, only to reveal them again. Floral elements and acrylic paints merge to create an atmosphere of:
- Transformation: The constant change of being
- Purification: Releasing the unnecessary
- Recreation: Revealing the hidden
In a protected artistic space, visible forms enter into a dialogue with the invisible. It is an invitation to the viewer to pause for a moment, discover their own inner worlds and recognise the beauty that lies hidden.
